First Carnivore Grow — Less Die, More Progress

Competitor blogs assume you already know spawn routes and diet timers. This is the short version for a first carnivore grow on Evrima — with or without overlays.

Pick a species you can finish, not flex

Utah and Cerato teach ambush timing without eight-minute death walks. Apex grows look cool in trailers; they fail fast if you do not know map water sources. Learn one route on Gateway or Thenyaw before you swap species every death.

If you use overlays, start with creature ESP and radar only — add soft aim after you understand bite range. Feature list: Features.

Stamina is the real boss fight

Chasing every ping wastes stamina you need to escape a bigger carnivore. Drink before you scout. Use distance readouts to decide whether a target is worth the sprint — not whether you must engage.

Species filters from species filters guide keep the screen readable during your first successful grow.

When to turn overlays down

During safe nest AFK or long drinks, shrink radar range and hide distant tags. Less motion on screen equals fewer panic turns. After your first sub-adult, read soft aim tuning if you want assist for hunts — not for traveling.

Check Status after any Evrima patch before you continue a multi-day grow on a fresh build.
